About Emma Sawyer Physiotherapy

Emma Sawyer BSc (Hons), MCSP specialises in rehabilitation physiotherapy for stroke and other neurological conditions.
Emma is committed to providing an effective, innovative and caring physiotherapy service to people in their own homes. She believes that working with people in their own environment helps them to achieve their goals more quickly, and maintain improvements for longer.
Emma has experience treating a wide range of conditions, from stroke, to pneumonia, to broken bones, to Parkinson's Disease, to good old fashioned aches and pains and, occasionally, all of these things at once!
Physiotherapy is a science based healthcare profession, the skilled application of which helps alleviate pain, restores free and easy movement, and promotes physical well-being.
About Emma Sawyer
Emma graduated with an Honours Degree in Physiotherapy from Queen Margaret University College, Edinburgh. She has over 6 years experience working with patients in the community and in hospital, both with the NHS in Scotland and privately in Australia.
Emma is a Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, and is State Registered with the Health Professions Council, and adheres to their laws and codes of practice.
